Charlie Dean's four wickets help England seal T20I series

Offspinner Charlie Dean followed up her 3 for 22 in the second T20I with her career-best figures of 4 for 19 in the third match against West Indies to help England seal the five-match series.England made three changes to their XI from the second T20I, bringing Nat Sciver, Amy Jones and Sophie Ecclestone in for Dani Wyatt, Katherine Brunt and Lauren Bell. West Indies, meanwhile, brought in Trishan Holder and Sheneta Grimmond.Sophia Dunkley and Lauren Winfield-Hill opened for England and got off to a strong start after opting to bat, putting up a 60-run stand. Dunkley was the more aggressive of the two, hitting six boundaries on her way to a 31-ball 44. Afy Fletcher drew first blood for the hosts, bowling Winfield-Hill for 24. Sciver then joined Dunkley at the crease and hit two boundaries before falling for 13. West Indies further dented England with two wickets in the 14th over, first removing Dunkley with a run-out and Grimmond then having Jones caught.Heather Knight then helped rebuild with a 27-ball 43 which was laced with five fours and a six before falling in the 19th over to Hayley Matthews. England scored 10 runs off their last over to take the total to 157 for 6.Heather Knight nails a pull over the leg side•CWI Media

Matthews helped West Indies start positively in the chase, but Aaliyah Alleyne’s stay at the crease was short-lived, with Dean dismissing her for a five-ball 3. Dean then produced a double-wicket maiden in the eighth over, dismissing the well-set Matthews for 35 and Shemaine Campbelle for a duck. Rashada Williams and Holder tried to resurrect the innings with a 40-run stand but this time Ecclestone had the latter bowled to break their momentum. After Alice Davidson-Richards dismissed Fletcher for 6, Dean returned to pick her fourth wicket of the day, getting Kycia Knight bowled.Ecclestone then removed Williams, West Indies’ top-scorer on the day, for 38. West Indies needed 22 off the last over but they could score just four runs, falling 17 short.”On the bowlers, we’ve obviously mixed up the team a little to offer opportunities and work out a bit about a few different players and someone like Charlie Dean has really come in and grasped hers,” Knight said. “We’re so lucky we’ve got such depth in the spin department.”I don’t think we’re too far away from knowing our best team is and knowing potentially what that T20 World Cup squad looks like. It’s all been a bit of a fact-finding mission and getting to know a few people and how they work in slightly different places.Related

“In T20 it’s all about trying to find the boundaries and play to your strengths and I felt on that wicket that my strengths were being a bit funky and hitting square of the wicket so it was nice to contribute to a team win and nice to feel in good form.”West Indies head coach Courtney Walsh remained positive despite the series loss.”The effort we’ve shown in the last two games, in particular this one is very pleasing,” Walsh said after the match. “It’s also good that we’ve got some youngsters around who are showing the fight. We’re trying to create a different team culture and approach and learning is taking place all the time. It’s a loss in terms of the series but I am pleased with what I am seeing with the bigger picture of what lies ahead for the tri-series [against South Africa and India] and [T20] World Cup.”The fourth and the fifth match of the series are scheduled to be played on December 18 and 22 respectively in Bridgetown.

The Sun claims that the 29-year-old wants to knuckle down, keep his spot in the starting XI and get United 'back to where they should be' at the top of the game. The report adds, however, that the Red Devils are also keeping tabs on Torino keeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic, not to mention that Altay Bayindir wants to usurp Onana as the club's number one.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Onana has made nine mistakes leading to a goal in all competitions since his £44 million ($58m) move from Inter Milan in 2023, and those costly errors have raised questions about his future at United. If they do sign another keeper, such as Milinkovic-Savic, this summer, the writing may be on the wall for the Cameroon international.

  • DID YOU KNOW?

Milinkovic-Savic, 28, began his career at United aged 17 but ended up leaving due to work-permit problems. He has since developed an impressive reputation in Serie A with Torino.

Barcelona player ratings vs Real Madrid: Wing wonders Raphinha and Lamine Yamal carry the Blaugrana AGAIN as crazy Clasico comeback win leaves Hansi Flick's side on the cusp of La Liga glory

The Catalans' electrifying wide men put Los Blancos to the sword on Sunday as they came out on top in a seven-goal thriller

A Raphinha and Lamine Yamal masterclass put Barcelona on the brink of another La Liga triumph after a remarkable 4-3 comeback win over Real Madrid on Sunday.

The fourth and final Clasico of the season started with a bang when Kylian Mbappe was brought down in the box by goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny, and the French forward dispatched the subsequent spot-kick in the fifth minute. Things then went from bad to worse for Barca when Mbappe was on hand to finish off a rapid-fire counter-attack to make it 2-0 just nine minutes later.

Madrid were indebted to their own 'keeper Thibaut Courtois after he made excellent stops to deny Eric Garcia and Yamal, but there was nothing he could do to stop the former's header in the 19th minute. The galvanised hosts kept pushing for an equaliser and got it in spectacular fashion when Yamal curled a stunning finish past a helpless Courtois just after the half-hour mark from the edge of the area.

A shell-shocked Madrid, who were still finding joy on the transition and with long balls over the top, could not handle Barca's high press and coughed up a third goal two minutes later through Raphinha. Then, mere moments after Los Blancos had a penalty overturned for offside in the build-up, Raphinha pinched the ball off a dawdling Lucas Vazquez, and then Ferran Torres set him up to tuck the ball home on the stroke of half-time.

Yamal looked to have grabbed his second after the break when he tapped in Raphinha's pass across the six-yard box, but the Barca captain was offside in the build-up. And just when it looked like the league leaders would cruise to victory, the lethal Mbappe grabbed his hat-trick after Vinicius Jr neatly set up the 26-year-old.

Raphinha then missed a sitter to put the contest to bed, and despite a nervy finale, which included both Mbapp and Fermin Lopez having goals chalked off, Hansi Flick's team moved seven points clear at the top of La Liga with just three matches remaining having beaten Madrid all four times in all competitions this season.

Wojciech Szczesny (4/10):

The veteran was made to look very slow when he brought Mbappe down in the box, and then was helpless for Madrid's second and third. Going forward, they need a better keeper.

Eric Garcia (7/10):

While he had a couple of problems early on with Vinicius, the right-back largely held his own against the Brazilian and kickstarted Barca's comeback by continuing his good recent form with a well-taken header to reduce the early arrears.

Pau Cubarsi (4/10):

The young defender made two poor touches that led to Barcelona conceding an early penalty, and was too easily bypassed for Mbappe's second. Came off injured before the hour mark.

Inigo Martinez (5/10):

Was caught out on a number of occasions as Mbappe tore Barca's backline to shreds.

Gerard Martin (7/10):

Another solid showing from the left-back as he kept Guler relatively quiet down the Madrid right.

Frenkie de Jong (7/10):

The Dutchman helped shut down Madrid's midfield and performances like these highlight why he is a starter in Flick's team now.

Pedri (7/10):

Was part of a midfield that was initially overrun but they eventually gained the upper hand and outnumbered Madrid in the centre of the park.

Dani Olmo (8/10):

Played a big part in re-energising his team's fightback, thanks to his creativity and vision.

Lamine Yamal (9/10):

The wonderkid was a bit sluggish early on but took his goal in delicious fashion and showed all of his tricks from there on in. He and Raphinha ripped Madrid's defence to shreds.

Ferran Torres (8/10):

Led the line well and stretched Madrid's backline with his directness. Was heavily involved in two of Barca's goals.

Raphinha (9/10):

Showed off his ruthless edge with two well-taken goals, the second of which came from his relentless pressing. The ex-Leeds United star had so much joy down the left and toyed with the opposition. Could, and should, have had more, though.

Andreas Christensen (7/10):

Blocked a critical cross with virtually his first touch and was a real rock at the back off the bench.

Alejandro Balde (5/10):

Looked a bit sluggish on his return from a hamstring injury.

Fermin Lopez (7/10):

Scored a brilliant solo goal to put some extra gloss on the scoreline, only for it to be ruled out for handball.

Hector Fort (6/10):

Was in the right place at the right time to keep his defence secure.

Gavi (N/A):

The midfielder did not have enough time to make an impact.

Hansi Flick (7/10):

Barca were chasing shadows early on as Madrid's tactics worked wonders, but his side dramatically turned the tables on their great rivals with a remarkable 25-minute goal fest. Flick got the better of Carlo Ancelotti in a Clasico for the ages.

Leeds flop who left after just 20 games is now similar to a £92m star

Leeds United supporters will be hoping that the club can secure a return to the Premier League over the next couple of months with just 14 Championship games remaining in 2024/25.

The Whites are currently in their second season at this level after missing out on promotion last time around in the cruellest way possible – the play-off final.

However, Daniel Farke has done a superb job of leading the club to the summit of the table in recent weeks, with their 14-game unbeaten run in the league undoubtedly aiding their cause.

Leeds United manager DanielFarkeapplauds fans

If they were to secure a return to England’s top flight, the German would have to do what many teams have failed to do over the last couple of seasons and avoid an immediate return back down the ladder.

Should they secure promotion, the hierarchy would have to provide the manager with the resources to be a success once more, learning from their previous mistakes of signing players not at the level required.

Leeds United’s transfers in 2022/23

Leeds’ last season in the Premier League was a challenge from the get-go, losing Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha to Manchester City and Barcelona respectively – with the pair two of their star players at Elland Road the season.

Subsequent funds were spent across the team to provide depth in all areas, with full-back Rasmus Kristensen joining the club from RB Salzburg.

Leeds defender Rasmus Kristensen.

The Dane made 26 appearances during his only season as a first-team member in Yorkshire to date, leaving on multiple loan spells after relegation at the end of the season.

He was just one of nine senior additions during the course of the aforementioned campaign, but he and his teammates were unable to prevent the club from dropping back into the Championship at the end of the season.

One of the signings joined in January, offering a last-ditch attempt to turn around the dismal form, but was subsequently unable to – thriving away from Elland Road in the last couple of seasons.

The Leeds player who’s similar to a £92m talent

Weston McKennie arrived at Leeds on loan from Juventus in January 2023, looking to add the needed quality to the midfield department to fight off any lingering relegation threats.

Weston McKennie for Leeds United

The American would make 20 appearances but was unable to prevent the inevitable, leaving the Whites at the end of the season and moving back to Serie A, forcing himself back into the first-team picture in Turin.

The 26-year-old has now featured 64 times in the last two campaigns for the Italian giants, registering 18 combined goals and assists, with his latest strike coming in the Champions League against PSV last night.

As a result of his displays, McKennie has since been ranked as a similar player to Arsenal’s Martin Odegaard – highlighting how much he’s developed away from Yorkshire after his temporary stint with the Whites.

The Norwegian, who’s valued at £92m by Transfermarkt, has been a key member of Mikel Arteta’s side in recent times but has been unable to produce better stats than the former loanee who’s bettered the midfielder in various key areas.

The Juve star has registered the same amount of goal contributions in the league, whilst posting a higher shot-on-target accuracy rate, outperforming the former Real Madrid star who’s more of an attacking option.

McKennie has also completed more of his attempted passes and won more tackles per 90, showcasing his excellent box-to-box playstyle, finally starting to fulfil his potential after his spell at Leeds.

Leeds United midfielder Weston McKennie

It’s bonkers to see such a quick progression after his short spell in Yorkshire, with the American undoubtedly one of the leading talents within Juventus’ current squad under Thiago Motta.

Outperforming Odegaard is no mean feat given his own form in recent times, with it being great to see a former Whites player thrive after a difficult period in his professional career following relegation in 2022/23.

"Unplayable" Leeds summer target is now available for between £10m and £15m

Leeds United have received a transfer boost ahead of the summer as an “unplayable” forward target has been made available for transfer, according to a recent report.

Leeds transfer news

The Whites have had to wait all weekend to be back in Championship action, as they travel to Bramall Lane on Monday to face promotion rivals Sheffield United. Leeds hold a two-point gap over the Blades and a four-point lead over third-place Burnley, so Daniel Farke will know a win on Monday night and they could have one foot in the Premier League.

As they look to be closing in on their return to the topflight, transfer speculation has intensified in the last week, with Leeds being linked with several new strikers, as Farke looks to bolster his forward line. Sunderland’s Wilson Isidor has emerged as a potential target for Leeds, and Carlton Palmer thinks this would be a fantastic move for both the club and the player.

Palmer said: “Spurs, Leeds, and Crystal Palace have all been linked with Sunderland striker Wilson Isidor. He’s having a fantastic time at Sunderland. He’s settled down now; he’s scored 12 league goals this season.

“He was outstanding against Leeds United in that defeat for Sunderland. The defeat for Sunderland sees them eight points behind Sheffield United in second place, so automatics are gone now. As I said at the start of the season, I fancied Leeds and Sheffield United to go up. I think that’s done and dusted now.

“Leeds getting promoted, that would be a fantastic move for them, for both parties, because he would get game time and he has shown his composure. Leeds will need quality to stay up when they eventually do get promotion sealed.”

Leeds receive boost as "unplayable" ace available for £10-15m

As well as looking to sign a new striker, the Whites are also keen on signing Manor Solomon, who is on loan from Tottenham Hotspur. Now Leeds’ chances of signing the winger have been boosted as Spurs have made him available for transfer, according to Give Me Sport.

The report states that Spurs are willing to sell Solomon in the summer and would be looking to get between £10-15 million for him. Leeds are interested in signing the winger on a permanent basis, given his importance for them this season, but they also face competition from Everton, who are keeping an eye on his situation.

Solomon, who has been described as “unplayable” by former Leeds boss Neil Redfearn, has scored seven goals in 26 Championship appearances this season ahead of Monday’s fixture. The Israel international has started the last nine league games before the Sheffield United match, and if the Whites are promoted to the Premier League, it is likely Farke would like to make the player a permanent part of his team.

The decision for Spurs to sell Solomon shouldn’t really come as a surprise, as he’s only played six times for the club, and they all came in the early parts of last season before he picked up his meniscus injury. The 25-year-old does have other experience in the Premier League, as he played 19 games for Fulham in the 2022/23 season, scoring four goals in the process.

He’s now like a £90m star: Man Utd must rue selling amazing ace for £10m

It has been a really poor season for Manchester United, who are battling to get a top-half finish this season.

However, things were not made easier with the news a couple of weeks ago that Amad is out injured. The Ivorian attacker has been sensational under Ruben Amorim – contributing with nine goals and seven assists – but will miss the remainder of the season.

It’s safe to say that the 22-year-old has had a real impact on the Red Devils this season and will be a big miss.

With Kobbie Mainoo and Mason Mount also out with injury, it leaves Amorim thin on the ground in terms of options in that number 10 role.

Man United's current attacking midfield options

Amorim has four realistic options to play as a number 10. One of those is Bruno Fernandes. United’s captain has been playing deeper at times under Amorim, but his goal threat is obvious. He has ten goals and 12 assists this term.

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes

The United boss has also tended to start Joshua Zirkzee behind the striker in recent weeks. His excellent ability to link play up and find runners beyond him, plus the physical presence he offers, means he could work well as an attacking midfielder in the dual 10 system Amorim employs. He has already shown great signs when playing there in recent weeks.

Alejandro Garnacho offers something unique at attacking midfield. He is unlike any other United player, someone who will relentlessly dribble at the opposition defence and try and take them on one-vs-one. The youngster has 14 goal involvements this season but has been in a drought.

Christian Eriksen is the fourth realistic option Amorim has to play in the role. Now into the final few months of his deal at United, the Denmark international has not featured much this season but possesses the timeless ability to unlock a defence with one pass.

However, amid this injury crisis, perhaps Amorim wishes United still had a former academy graduate on the books who has impressed after leaving the club.

Former Man United academy graduate would now be perfect

In the last few seasons, so many academy graduates have departed Old Trafford permanently. That includes established first-team players like Scott McTominay, who moved to Napoli, and less experienced yet high-potential players like Teden Mengi, who is now at Luton Town.

Another recent academy departure was attacking midfielder Andreas Pereira. The Brazilian, who went on several loan spells during his time at Old Trafford, made 75 appearances for the club, scoring and assisting nine times.

In 2022, he made the move to West Londoners Fulham for a fee in the region of £10m. Since joining the Cottagers, Pereira has thrived. In 108 games for the club, he has scored on ten occasions and grabbed 19 assists. His valuation of as much as £17.5m by Football Transfers shows just how much he has improved.

In his first two Premier League campaigns at the club, he managed to hit ten goal involvements. He also managed to get on the scoresheet in a 2-2 draw at Anfield against Liverpool this term, which surely brought a smile to the faces of United fans.

Pereira’s performances have been impressive over the past few seasons so much so that you can now draw a statistical comparison with Martin Odegaard and remarkably Phil Foden who are adjudged to be similar players via FBref.

The Arsenal captain, who is valued as highly as £90m by Transfermarkt, has three goals and six assists for the Gunners this season.

Highest valued midfielders in the Premier League (timeless)

The statistical evidence suggests that both midfielders have been creatively excellent players over the season. On average, Pereira plays 2.67 key passes per game, compared to 2.33 for Odegaard. The Fulham star also averages 5.27 shot-creating actions per game, with the Arsenal skipper slightly less at 4.68 per game.

Perhaps Amorim wishes he had the former United star to call upon this season. As Statman Dave said, he is an “underrated playmaker”, and could have made a real difference for the Red Devils this season.

    WHAT HAPPENED?

Chelsea are pursuing a swap deal involving Carney Chukwuemeka and Jamie Gittens, BILD reports. Chukwuemeka, who is currently on loan at Borussia Dortmund until the end of the season, was signed by the Blues in 2022 but hefty competition for places at Stamford Bridge saw him deemed surplus to requirements. Indeed, the Premier League side are apparently now looking at moving him on in a permanent transfer, that would see Gittens head in the opposite direction.

  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

Intriguingly, Arsenal's interest in Gittens could complicate matters. German publication even claims that the Gunners are now a 'step ahead', although the €100 million (£85m) asking price is way more than they're prepared to pay. That could open a window of opportunity for Chelsea, if they can tempt Dortmund into agreeing to a Chukwuemeka-Gittens swap.

  • KOBEL ALSO IN CHELSEA'S SIGHTS

According to , Chelsea are also exploring the possibility of bringing in Dortmund goalkeeper Gregor Kobel. The transfer negotiations have been described as a 'poker game', and despite the Switzerland international being happy in Germany, he may well be keen on progressing his career, should Chelsea make the Champions League. The fee could be a stumbling block, however, with Dortmund apparently asking for €60m (£51m).

Chelsea and Dortmund will continue talks to see if an agreement can be reached, both regarding the Chukwuemeka-Gittens transfer and also a proposed switch to Stamford Bridge for Kobel. The Blues will soon be able to ramp up their summer plans, with them having just three Premier League games remaining. They're also favourites to lift the Europa Conference League and take a 4-1 advantage into their semi-final second leg against Djurgarden on May 8. As for Dortmund, they're currently fifth in the Bundesliga table and a failure to make the top four could lead to many star names, including Kobel, seeking an exit.

Healy ruled out of final T20I against India with a calf strain

Tahlia McGrath will captain the side in the final match of the series

Alyssa Healy walked off after suffering a calf strain while batting in the fourth T20I•BCCI

Australia stand-in captain Alyssa Healy has been ruled out of the fifth and final T20I against India in Mumbai on Tuesday due to a calf strain with stand-in vice-captain Tahlia McGrath set to lead her country for the first time.Healy, who took over as captain for this tour in the absence of Meg Lanning, suffered a calf strain while batting in the fourth T20I on Saturday.Healy was unable to bat again or field with McGrath taking over as captain as Australia successfully defended 188. Beth Mooney, who keeps in the WBBL for Perth Scorchers, kept wicket during the chase and is set to keep again in the final match.Healy will undergo scans on her calf when she returns to Australia later this week to determine the extent of the damage. Australia have home T20I and ODI series against Pakistan in mid-January ahead of the T20 World Cup in February.Healy’s injury means her extraordinary record streak of 107 consecutive T20Is for Australia will come to an end.McGrath was confident she could handle captaining her country after holding her nerve on Saturday and captaining Adelaide Strikers to the WBBL title last month.”I’m new to leadership in this team and been learning a lot on the fly and it probably worked in my favour that I didn’t have long to think about it,” McGrath told reporters in Mumbai on Monday. “I was strangely calm out there, I had a lot of support. I had to try and stay calm and keep the team calm.”I’ve come off the back of captaining Strikers for six weeks where it’s high pressure. The best players in the world are there and that’s what it felt like, I was captaining the Strikers with a few extra players.”Phoebe Litchfield is likely to get a second opportunity at international level having made her debut in game two of the series, although she did not bat.Australia are undecided as to who will open alongside Mooney but they have plenty of options, including Litchfield and Ellyse Perry.”We haven’t decided yet,” McGrath said. “But I think the good news is we’ve got a lot of options, whether Pheebs [Litchfield] comes in, she’s done it in the Big Bash, myself, Pez [Perry]. We’ve got so many options but we’ll have to wait and see.”

Spurs now willing to sell "fantastic" £15m forward; two English clubs keen

Tottenham Hotspur are now willing to sell a “fantastic” forward in the summer, looking to receive a fee of around £10m – £15m, and two big English clubs are interested in a move.

Tottenham eyeing attacking upgrades

It has been far from an ideal season for Tottenham, and while some of their struggles can be put down to the injury crisis they’ve endured, there is no denying they will need to strengthen in the summer if they are to start competing near the top of the table.

Spurs are looking to bring in additional depth in attack, and a report has revealed they are now eyeing a surprise £6m+ move for Villarreal striker Ayoze Perez, with the former Newcastle United man impressing in La Liga this season.

Perez is seemingly more likely to be brought in as a rotation option, but there are also indications they could pursue a move for a top striker, with it recently being revealed they are now ready to trigger the £62m striker in Matheus Cunha’s Wolves contract.

Given that Cunha would be an expensive purchase, Tottenham may have to cash-in on some of their current players to help fund the move, and GiveMeSport are reporting they are now willing to sell Manor Solomon in the summer.

Solomon has spent the current season on loan at Leeds United, where he has impressed, with the Championship promotion-hopefuls now looking to make his stay permanent in the summer, while Everton are also said to be keen.

Spurs would be looking to receive a relatively low fee of around £10m – £15m for the Israeli, although they would still make a tidy profit, having signed him on a free transfer from Shakhtar Donetsk back in 2023.

The 25-year-old’s performances in the Championship this season have been very impressive, picking up seven goals and seven assists to aid his side’s push for promotion back to the Premier League.

However, the left-winger has never managed to force his way into Postecoglou’s plans, and there may be even more competition for a starting spot next season, given that Spurs are planning to bring in some new attacking options.

As such, while journalist Adam Pope has lauded the Leeds loanee as “fantastic” for his performances this season, it is probably the right decision to sanction his departure this summer.

Tottenham can use the tidy profit they will make to fund their other transfer business, with the likes of Perez and Cunha of interest, while there have also been indications they could make a £83m offer for Borussia Dortmund winger Jamie Gittens.

Hasan Ali in line for Pakistan return as Haris Rauf replacement

Pakistan looking to add experience to fast-bowling options for Multan Test

Danyal Rasool06-Dec-2022Pakistan are likely to call up fast bowler Hasan Ali to the Test squad to replace Haris Rauf, who has been ruled out of the rest of the England series with a quad injury. Rauf was injured while fielding during England’s first innings in Rawalpindi, leading to a grade two strain in his right quad.ESPNcricinfo understands Pakistan will call upon a fast bowler from outside the original 18-person squad for the second Test, starting in Multan on Friday. The only specialist fast bowler who didn’t play the first Test for Pakistan was Mohammad Wasim Jnr. But Wasim Jnr is yet to play a Test match, while three of the four bowlers who played the first Test in Rawalpindi were also making their debut, and adding some experience to the attack is seen as desirable.Hasan was one of the first names on the Pakistan team sheet until recently, having been named Pakistan’s Test Cricketer of the Year for 2021. However, his tendency to hit form in streaks makes him a somewhat less reliable bowler for the Test side, and his red-ball numbers over the past year have dipped sharply. He played against Sri Lanka in July but was dropped for the England series, and his 14 wickets in the recently completed Quaid-e-Azam trophy for Southern Punjab came at 40 runs apiece. However, his experience with the national side – he made his Test debut in 2017 and has played 21 Tests – will bolster a bowling line-up that is particularly wet behind the ears. In addition, his high ceiling potentially provides an X-factor that a Pakistan bowling line-up without Shaheen Shah Afridi arguably lacks.Mohammad Abbas is another option, even if his line-and-length medium pace makes him an unsuitable like-for-like replacement for the injured Rauf. ESPNcricinfo understands Abbas has not yet been contacted, though an impressive Quaid-e-Azam trophy season – he took 18 wickets at 24.16 for Sindh – could make him an attractive option. In the first Test, Pakistan opted to play Mohammad Ali, a similar bowler to Abbas, though he had a debut to forget.
