أشاد خالد مرتجي أمين الصندوق في النادي الأهلي بتتويج الفريق بالميدالية البرونزية في كأس العالم للأندية 2023، مشيرًا إلى أنه تم تجديد عقد كولر المدير الفني بشهر أغسطس الماضي.

وقال خالد مرتجي في مداخلة لقناة “أون تايم سبورتس”: “نمتلك أعظم جمهور في الكون، سعادة ما بعدها سعادة، وكنا نتمنى تحقيق أفضل من ذلك”.

وواصل: “تواجد الأهلي على منصة التتويج رائع، الأحمر هو المنظومة الناجحة ويضيف بسمة وفرحة على جموع وأغلبية الشعب الأهلاوي، الجيل الحالي يستحق كل الاحترام، حزين لأن كان ممكن تحقيق نتيجة أفضل، وكان هناك بعض الظلم التحكيمي في مباراة فلومينينسي البرازيلي”.

وأكمل: “رئيس مانشستر سيتي قال لي، كنا نتمنى نلعب معكم في النهائي وكنتم تستحقوها، وموتسيبي قال لمحمود الخطيب أنتم فخر لإفريقيا، بيب جوارديولا قال لي عندما ذهب لمصر أن الكل كان يتحدث فقط عن الأهلي”.

وتابع: “محمود الخطيب حاليًا بحالة جيدة، مارسيل كولر جدد تعاقده مع الأهلي أغسطس الماضي، والطائرة ستتجه للإمارات في الساعة السادسة، والشركة الراعية حاولت تأجيل مباراة السوبر ولكن سنخوض المواجهة في موعدها”.

وواصل: “يجب عودة الجماهير للمدرجات، الكرة دون جماهير لا تسوى شيئًا، يجب أن تكون ملاعبنا مليئة بالجماهير، الجمهور هو الأساس وهو من صنع اسم الأهلي، مهما سأقول على الجماهير لن أقدر أن أمنحها ما تستحقه”.

وزاد: “الأهلي يجب أن يوفر مليون و300 ألف دولار كل شهر للجهاز الفني واللاعبين، أتمنى الفترة المقبلة من الدولة والبنك المركزي على الأقل يوفرون لنا العملة الصعبة للعقود المبرمة، حتى لو يعطون لنا بسعر أعلى لأننا غير قادرين على توفير العملة الصعبة”.

وبشأن وصول عروض سعودية لـ محمد الشناوي، قال: “لا أعرف عنها شيء”.

وصرح بشأن ما يحدث للفرنسي موديست في الأهلي: “كان الله في عونه وربنا يفتحها عليه ونرى منه شيء جيد، سيرته الذاتية والفيديوهات تدل أنه لاعب جيد، كولر أصر على التعاقد معه رغم أنه عُرض عليه أكثر من لاعب، هناك لاعبون على أعلى مستوى انضموا لأندية كبيرة ولم يؤدوا وبعد ذلك انضموا لأندية أخرى وتألقوا”.

واستطرد: “كولر كان حزينًا جدًا بسبب خسارة مباراة فلومينينسي البرازيلي، كان يتمنى أن يحقق مركز أفضل من الثالث”.

واختتم: “إمام عاشور طائر من الفرحة، لقد نال جائزة رجل المباراة وهو يستحقها، تشعر (قد ايه النادي الأهلي هو من يصنع النجوم)”.

الأهلي تمكن من الفوز بنتيجة 4-2 على أوراوا، بالمباراة التي أقيمت اليوم على استاد الأمير عبد الله الفيصل، وحصل على المركز الثالث بمونديال الأندية.

بهذا الفوز نجح الأهلي في حصد الميدالية البرونزية الرابعة في تاريخه في كأس العالم للأندية، من خلال 9 مشاركات له في البطولة.

ومن المقرر أن يلتقي الأهلي في المباراة القادمة أمام سيراميكا كليوباترا، في مستهل مباريات كأس السوبر المصري.

O Botafogo deu mais um passo rumo à profissionalização do departamento de futebol. Praticamente pronto, o plano de negócios da Botafogo S/A será apresentado ao Conselho Fiscal do clube até a próxima terça-feira. Na última terça-feira, o Conselho Diretor do clube de General Severiano teve acesso a parte dobusiness plan e o sinal foi positivo.

O Conselho Diretor, inclusive, se reuniram em General Severiano para debater o novo modelo de gestão, mas ainda não tiveram acesso ao conteúdo. A cúpula até ofereceu dois integrantes para participar no estudo, mas o Conselho Diretor não achou a participação de ambos adequada. A tendência, porém, é que o grupo seja o próximo a ter acesso às páginas do business plan.

O planejamento da separação do departamento de futebol da parte social do clube ficará pronto até o início da próxima semana. Deste modo, a diretoria terá acesso aos números. A lógica é a seguinte: após o parecer do Conselho Fiscal, o Deliberativo do Botafogo convocará uma reunião extraordinária para a votação da mudança do Estatuto para permitir a separação das partes.

Se o projeto for aprovado internamente, o Botafogo iniciará o último – e, talvez, mais complicado – passo rumo à profissionalização: a busca por investidores. Ainda não nenhum contrato concreto, mas algumas empresas estrangeiras já demonstram interesse no projeto e o Alvinegro iniciou conversas, mas ainda de forma leve. Com um documento consolidado, a cúpula alvinegra espera intensificar as conversas por parcerias econômicas.

Nos próximos dias, o Botafogo deve divulgar uma nota dando esclarecimentos sobre essa nova parte do projeto. É esperado que o documento traga detalhes de quem possa liderar a parte da busca por investidores.

Veda Krishnamurthy surpassed the team’s highest individual score of the series and for the first time in three games, the team was not bowled out – but . The scorecard of the third ODI showed many positives in the Indian batting, in context of the series, but the margin of improvement did not seem big.India have struggled to get the runs from the start of an innings, have strived to put on substantial partnerships, and have relied on only one batsman per match. On Friday, it was Krishnamurthy’s 63 that hauled India past 150 to an eventual score of 182 for 9. She said after the match that the team has been “banking on the bowlers” to defend whatever total the batsmen put up, and that was also one of the factors behind the team’s decision to bat first in all three games, despite their struggles while doing so.Worked on mental aspect of my game – Krishnamurthy

Veda Krishnamurthy excelled on her ODI debut with a 57-ball 51 against England back in 2011. Since then she has played only 11 ODIs, with single-digit scores in her last six innings, and her 63 today was only her second half-century in the format. Playing her first ODI series since July 2012, Krishnamurthy said that a few mental changes had made the difference to her approach.
“I worked a lot mentally because when it comes to technique, that was never a problem for me,” she said. “I used to fail because I used to lose it mentally and I had a good domestic season this year and selectors had faith in me that I am going to do well. It just came out well.
“I am playing a one-day (series) after two years (sic) so failing in the first game and not playing in the second, this game was very important for me as well as for the team to post a good total. Personally it helped me gain confidence for the rest of the series.”
When asked what kept her going in her efforts to make a comeback, she said: “I have a lot of faith in myself that I am good enough to play at this level. I was just giving in everything wherever possible and luckily this year came out really well where I performed at the right moment which helped me get confidence. And to come here and play a series and to perform has given me a lot of confidence.”

“We are just having faith in our bowling that we can defend whatever we post,” Krishnamurthy said. “Right now the bowling is the strength so three spinners playing in the XI and Jhulan (Goswami) being the top bowler, we bank on the bowlers for whatever total we post. It didn’t work out but this is the reason we were looking to bat first.”I think we played a lot of dot balls initially and there were hardly singles taken. Throughout the series, we have been losing too many wickets in the beginning and then whoever is going in has to build an innings and take it forward, rather than going and playing their game. That is the main concern.”India’s bowling probably relied too much either on Goswami, or on the spinners to trouble the New Zealand batsmen on slow and turning pitches in the first two matches. In the first ODI, the spinners took all eight wickets to fall to bowlers, and in the second Goswami returned with economical figures of 10-3-14-2. The scenario changed in the third match when New Zealand openers Suzie Bates and Rachel Priest came out with an attacking mindset.”We gave too many boundaries initially, we gave a lot of boundaries in fact,” Krishnamurthy said. “That’s where the game got out of our hands. We had to look for wickets initially. They were getting a lot of boundaries initially so at that point the game was in New Zealand’s hands because they had a good first-wicket partnership and to come back from there was very difficult. You have to expect a collapse or a hat-trick or something.”Priest played a key role in that opening stand, attacking the spinners from the second over to ensure that the partnership stayed intact, even if it meant scoring only a few runs from Goswami’s bowling. She scored boundaries off every spinner except Rajeshwari Gayakwad and scored the least against Goswami – three runs off 13 balls.”She [Goswami] bowled really well again today, it was just probably a sub-conscious mind shift for us that we were going to be aggressive against everybody,” Priest said. “She’s definitely their most dangerous bowler for us. We weren’t too worried about what we scored off her as long as we scored at the other end. She’s always going to be a threat to us but as long as we can be confident and play out shots against her, we’ll score against her as well.”After her 19-ball duck in the series opener and a watchful innings against spinners in the second match, Priest decided to attack the spinners the third time.”We had that discussion after the first game and just tweaked our game plans,” Priest said. “For me personally it was more about being aggressive and taking on the bowlers, the spinners in particular. It was about moving our feet and trusting our game. It (attacking) is an extension of my natural game. I think I went away from that in the first game which didn’t work for me, I think I might look to be more attacking.”

A invasão da torcida do Flamengo em Lima começou e o bairro de Miraflores, região mais turística da cidade, ganhou ares de Rio de Janeiro, com os torcedores colorindo as ruas de vermelho e preto. Torcedores cruzam o Pacífico pela Copa

Não são apenas do Brasil que vieram torcedores do Flamengo para assistir à final da Libertadores, no sábado, contra o River Plate. Um grupo de 10 rubro-negros encarou uma viagem de quase 20 horas e cruzou o Oceano Pacífico para presenciar a decisão histórica.

E, mesmo antes da partida, o sentimento é de que já valeu a pena, comentou Rodrigo Costa, presidente da Fla Ozzy, torcida do Flamengo com sede na Austrália.

– Sempre esperei por esse momento. Às vezes penso que estou sonhando, que não é real. Nós, rubro-negros, merecemos isso. Sabia que nossa hora ia chegar – disse Rodrigo, antes de dar seu palpite para o jogo.

– Expectativa melhor possível. Em final tudo pode acontecer, mas creio que não vá acontecer nada de anormal, vamos ganhar de 3 a 1 e levar esse bicampeonato – finalizou.

Serão 15 representantes da Fla Ozzy em Lima, no Peru, dos quais dez já estão na capital. Outros cinco são aguardados para esta quinta-feira, todos já com ingresso. A viagem saindo de Sidney e com escala em Santiago, no Chile, leva cerca de 20 horas.

While Knight Riders found themselves on the right side of the result, Mumbai suffered a shocker at home against newcomers Rising Pune Supergiants.Mumbai will take the field at Eden Gardens hoping to bounce back in a hurry. They will want to break their recent habit of losing their first several matches of the season; Mumbai lost their first four games last year, and their first five in 2014 . After their horror show against Supergiants, they would perhaps do best to hit the mental reset button and start afresh.Knight Riders would be pretty pleased with the current state of affairs. Their big win against Delhi Daredevils gave them a handy head-start on the net run-rate front. An excellent all-round effort from their bowlers was followed by a solid showing by their top three batsmen. Their strong spin-bowling department is perfectly suited to the pitches on offer at Eden Gardens.
