ويلاقي الاتحاد نظيره إيسترن كومباني غدًا في المباراة المؤجلة بينهما من منافسات الجولة الحادية عشر ببطولة الدوري المصري الممتاز.

وتواجد جمال علام رفقة بعض أعضاء مجلس إدارة اتحاد الكرة في تدريبات فريق الاتحاد السكندري أمس الثلاثاء.

وأكد نصر عبد العزيز أن جمال علام يجب عليه أن يتسم موقفه بالحيادية تجاه كل الفرق.

2020/21 was a horrendous year for Celtic Football Club. The Hoops were demolished on a regular basis in Europe and they failed to secure a trophy for the first time in a decade.

Celtic are a prestigious club and if you’re not winning a major honour as their manager, your job is always going to be in trouble.

Neil Lennon’s time at Parkhead was ticking away as protests mounted not just against his coaching but also the ownership at board level.

Lennon eventually resigned from his role towards the end of February but it took until June to find his permanent successor.

Life under Ange Postecoglou has been mixed. He has guided the Bhoys to the Europa League and there is a clear method to their play of pressing and transitioning from the back.

Sadly, Celtic are still a mess defensively and they’re having to contend with plenty of injuries too.

Things have got so bad that Postecoglou has had to bring Boli Bolingoli in from the cold.

After his mishap last term it looked as though he’d never play for the Hoops again but needs must with first-choice left-back Greg Taylor set to undergo shoulder surgery.

Bolingoli was left out of the club’s European squad for this term but earned his first minutes under the new manager in the shocking 1-0 defeat to Livingston on Sunday.

Unfortunately, the defender did little to prove his doubters wrong.

The £15k-per-week earner spent last term in Turkey after being given a stern telling off by Lennon.

He’d visited Spain on an unsanctioned trip during the height of the pandemic and had failed to tell anyone at the club.

The defender returned, trained with the team without isolating and even played in a match, putting not just his teammates at risk but also everyone at Kilmarnock.

Speaking amid that controversy, the former boss was dismayed by Bolingoli’s actions. He raged: “I think it is one of the worst behaviours from an individual I have come across.”

Lennon continued: “Boli took it upon himself to go to Spain and not tell anyone and not tell anyone when he came back. Obviously, we found out about it on Monday and we were just so perplexed, but also in despair of it, really.”

The fact the full-back didn’t leave this summer was a surprise but following his performance against Livi, it would be a shock if we saw him in Celtic colours again.

He hasn’t played much football but his display against one of the worst-ranked sides in the Premiership was questionable.

Postecoglou was let down by the Belgian who conceded possession on 18 occasions, made three fouls and was dribbled past twice.

Taylor is hardly a reliable figure defensively either but at least he’s not blatantly disregarded the club.

While the Scot remains out injured, Postecoglou simply has to look at handing Adam Montgomery more game time instead.

O contrato com o Palestino terminou. Agora, o atleta de 26 anos procura novo clube, para o qual se transferiria sem custos. Ele já passou pela La U, Santiago Wanders, Unión La Calera e Melipilla, todos do Chile.

O Botafogo, por sua vez, luta por reforços para o setor ofensivo. Mas esbara nas pedidas salariais, e nas próprias dificuldades financeiras. Contudo, a última parcela da rescisão de Canales será paga este mês, e a saída de Joel também abriu espaço no orçamento do clube.

Eight centrally contracted players, including Kevin Pietersen and Andrew Flintoff, and five with incremental deals have been granted No Obligation Certificates (NOCs) and can be put up for the player auction in Goa on February 6.Last week an agreement was reached regarding the 2009 tournament but Lalit Modi, the IPL commissioner, said he wanted a two-year commitment from the players ahead of the auction.Those players who earn deals next month will return to India for another stint in 2010. The ECB and BCCI also said they were working together to ensure next year’s IPL is run at a “materially similar” time of the year to allow England players to participate. The calendar is again tight next year with a World Twenty20 scheduled for April in West Indies before England begin their home season in May.Lalit Modi, the IPL chairman, has welcomed the BCCI-ECB deal and called it “long overdue”. “The final auction list will be out very soon now,” Modi told Cricinfo.Apart from Pietersen and Flintoff, the centrally contracted England players now certain to feature on that list are James Anderson, Ian Bell, Paul Collingwood, Monty Panesar, Ryan Sidebottom, Stephen Harmison, while Ravi Bopara, Samit Patel, Owais Shah, Graeme Swann and Luke Wright are also set to be put forward.Pietersen, who is being wooed by Bangalore, and Fintoff, who is expected to attract strong bids from Mumbai and Chennai, will be the prime picks at the auction. O volante Edenílson, que ficou fora da partida entre Internacional e Boa Esporte por questões contratuais, teve seu nome divulgado no Boletim Informativo Diário (BID) da CBF e está aptou para voltar a defender o Colorado. O vínculo do jogador com o time gaúcho precisava de uma alteração, por conta do fim do tempo de empréstimo pelo Genoa. Com o problema resolvido, o volante deve atuar na partida contra o Criciúma.

Para permitir que o atleta voltasse aos gramados, o Internacional precisava de um documento da Federação Italiana de Futebol regularizando a situação de Edenílson. Depois de receber e enviar a CBF, o nome do jogador voltou a ser publicado no BID. O novo vínculo é com a Udinese.

Durante os treinos desta semana, Edenílson trabalhou entre os titulares. Pela montagem do time, o jogador formará o meio de campo com Dourado, Gutiérrez e D’Alessandro. O próximo desafio da equipe será contra o Criciúma às 16h30 de sábado, no Beira-Rio.

A Ponte Preta está perto de anunciar mais um reforço para a sequência da temporada. Trata-se do meia Jorge Mendoza, do Paraguai. O jogador, nascido na Argentina e naturalizado paraguaio, chegou à Campinas nesta sexta-feira para realizar exames médicos no Majestoso. And, with goals from Bailey Wright, Luke O’Nien, Leon Dajaku and a brace from Ross Stewart sealing a 5-0 win at the Stadium of Light, it would be difficult to argue that a dominant performance is not exactly what the Sunderland side provided their manager.

Indeed, as is to be expected after such a result, a number of Johnson’s players turned in extremely impressive displays against the Robins, with Aiden McGeady, Carl Winchester and Bailey Wright all receiving SofaScore match ratings of 8.0 or higher, however, it was undeniably centre-forward Stewart who ran the show against the Robins.
