حدد المدير الفني للفريق الأول لكرة القدم بنادي مانشستر سيتي، بيب جوارديولا، صفقته الصيفية الأولى من أجل التدعيم بعد السقوط القاري أمام ريال مدريد والخروج من بطولة دوري أبطال أوروبا.

وفشل جوارديولا للموسم السادس على التواصل مع مانشستر سيتي في تحقيق حلم الملاك الإماراتيين، برفع كأس دوري أبطال أوروبا بالخسارة أمام ريال مدريد رغم التقدم بهدف نظيف للسقوط بنتيجة 3-1 على ملعب “سانتياجو برنابيو”.

وبحسب صحيفة “تايمز” البريطانية، يرغب جوارديولا في التعاقد مع لاعب وسط لتعزيز صفوف الفريق الأول بالموسم المقبل والهدف هو لاعب برشلونة ومنتخب هولندا، فرينكي دي يونج.

هذه ليست المرة الأولى التي يرغب مانشستر سيتي في التعاقد مع دي يونج، حيث كان يريدونه عندما كان لاعبًا في أياكس قبل الانتقال إلى برشلونة في عام 2019.

الجدير بالذكر أن مانشستر سيتي سيفقد خدمات، فرناندينيو، في الموسم المقبل بعدما أعلن البرازيلي أنه لن يستمر في ملعب “الاتحاد” وسيعود إلى الدوري البرازيلي.

وربما يرحل دي يونج في إطار صفقة تبادلية مع مانشستر سيتي، بحسب ما ذكرت صحيفة “موندو ديبورتيفو” الكتالونية خاصة في ظل إعجاب برشلونة بضم جناح الفريق الإنجليزي، برناردو سيلفا.

Crystal Palace could revisit their interest in Watford winger Ismaila Sarr this summer, according to The Sun’s Alan Nixon, and a number of Eagles supporters have been sharing their thoughts on the rumours on social media.

Palace had a £25m bid turned down for Sarr last season following the Hornets’ relegation to the Championship.

The 23-year-old starred at Vicarage Road in the second tier during the 2020/21 campaign, with his 13 goals and 10 assists proving vital to helping Watford seal an immediate return to the top flight.

According to The Sun, the Eagles are looking for a winger and could go back in for the Senegal international, who still has three years remaining on his Watford contract.

Palace have also been linked with Manchester City winger Morgan Rogers, with Patrick Vieira recently making Michael Olise his first signing in charge at Selhurst Park.

Crystal Palace have been credited with an interest in West Brom star Matheus Pereira.

And, as to be expected, plenty of Palace supporters have been giving their thoughts to the links on social media.

According to Dom Fifield of The Athletic, Pereira’s name has been mentioned in regards to older players who may be on the market.

Fifield also stated the Eagles’ interest in RB Leipzig’s Ademola Lookman and Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher, but Pereira and Celtic’s Ryan Christie appear to be more experienced potential targets.

Pereira, 25, starred for The Baggies last season but couldn’t save them from relegation back to the Championship.

The Brazilian, under contract at The Hawthorns until 2024, scored 11 times and provided six assists in 33 Premier League appearances.

He’s been linked with a West Brom exit this summer, and it seems as if Selhurst Park could be a possible destination.
