– A gente jogou bem o primeiro tempo. Tivemos um aproveitamento, na questão de fazer gols, abaixo do que a gente pode. Poderia ter ido com 2, 3 gols para o segundo tempo. O ponto negativo foi voltar e sofrer de bolas aéreas. Se a gente for procurar uma solução fácil (sobre as bolas aéreas que resultaram em gols do Bragantino), foi jogar sem zagueiro. No segundo gol, até se justifica não jogar com zagueiro. Talvez pudesse ser evitado. Mas, na verdade, tem um monte de coisa errada que a gente fez – comentou Fernando Diniz.
– Era um lateral nosso no primeiro gol. Fizemos uma falta boba, pedi para evitar fazer falta desnecessária. Mas o gol não teve nada a ver com os zagueiros. Sasha antecipou no primeiro pau. Na Libertadores, eles fizeram um gol parecido. O segundo gol, fizemos uma inversão desnecessária. Fica dois zagueiros para dois atacantes. Se a gente faz o que era para ter sido feito, a jogada nem teria existido. Para evitar gol de cabeça, é evitar bolas paradas e cruzamentos – completou o técnico durante a coletiva.

O time conseguiu jogar muito bem, principalmente no primeiro tempo. Infelizmente voltamos menos concentrado no segundo tempo. A gente deveria ter marcado melhor, deveria ter tido mais atenção, a gente teria o controle do jogo, saída curta, dentro da área, finalizações… ofensivamente estávamos bem. Sobre algumas escolhas na escalação e substituições durante o jogo com o objetivo de deixar o Fluminense mais ofensivo, Diniz disse enxergar o time como um todo. Ele citou o motivo de optar por Martinelli na zaga e relembrou as vezes em que André fez essa função, como em parte do jogo deste sábado (13).
– É tudo junto. É uma escolha para o time ter mais chances de ganhar o jogo. Fizemos isso inúmeras vezes o ano passado, mas puxando mais o André do que o Martinelli, só que o Martinelli é mais alto. É uma conta que a gente tem que ajustar. Não enxergo o time como um setor isolado. O momento que a gente melhor marcou foi quando jogamos com André e Martinelli na zaga e Lima e Ganso de volantes, porque ficamos preocupados com outras coisas – afirmou Fernando Diniz.

They had won just two of their last 19 completed T20Is, which included the forgettable 5-0 loss to Australia at home. They had put down multiple catches in the first T20I. What was Holder going to remember the most from this day? “Just getting over the line, to be honest,” he said on being named the Player of the Match. “As I said before, it’s been a tough couple of weeks for us. We just needed a win. We brought it down to the very end, unfortunately. But fortunately, we still got over the line.”The most pressure-cooker situation of those must have been when he got the strike back against Shaheen Shah Afridi in the last over of the chase with six to get from three balls. Holder had Shamar Joseph at the other end, and still, inexplicably, took a single when he couldn’t put away a low full toss. Shamar, for his part, gave the strike back and it all came down to Holder to hit four runs off the last ball to keep the series alive. He shuffled away to off, Afridi bowled the full delivery well wide of him outside off and the wide signal eased Holder’s nerves a little. Celtic have roughly two weeks to decide what they want to do with the manager position at the club before they are back in Scottish Premiership action after the international break.
Martin O’Neill is currently in place as the interim manager of the Scottish giants and has won both of his league matches in charge of the club, including a 4-0 win over Kilmarnock on Sunday.
The experienced head coach did, however, lose 3-1 to FC Midtjylland in the Europa League and needed extra time to secure a 3-1 win over Rangers, who went down to ten men in the first half, in the semi-final of the League Cup.
It, therefore, remains to be seen whether or not it would be the right call to give O’Neill more time after the international break to take charge of the team, until a permanent successor to Brendan Rodgers can be found.
The Northern Irish boss won the Premiership title in his two full seasons back at the club, but the Hoops are currently seven points adrift of Hearts in the league table, and need someone to turn it around.
One manager who has been touted with a potential move to Glasgow to save the club’s season is Bodo/Glimt head coach Kjetil Knutsen, who is among the contenders for the job.
The latest on Kjetil Knutsen to Celtic
TEAMtalk have reported that the Hoops are preparing to make an approach to appoint the Norwegian head coach to be their long-term successor to Rodgers at Parkhead.
The outlet claimed that Knutsen is keen to take the next step in his career and that the prospect of European football and a decent budget in Glasgow matches his ambitions for his next job.
Journalist Graeme Bailey, though, recently claimed that Knutsen wants to finish the Champions League campaign with Bodo/Glimt, which could see their season run until the end of January.
This means that O’Neill would have to stay in place for another couple of months, at least, as the interim manager, which would also mean that he would be in charge for the rest of the league phase of the Europa League.
Celtic, therefore, have to weigh up whether or not landing Knutsen in the long-term is worth potentially not qualifying from the league phase of the Europa League, given that O’Neill lost his first European game fairly comprehensively.

As you can see in the table above, Knutsen’s Bodo/Glimt side score plenty of goals and his style of play would be exciting for supporters to watch if it works in Scotland, which is one reason why the wait may be worth it.

According to TEAMtalk, Celtic are also looking at Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna as a possible option to be their long-term successor to Rodgers.
The report claims that the Premiership champions want to interview the Northern Irish head coach, who is currently managing the Tractor Boys in the Championship.
It adds that he is the ‘domestic dream’ for the Hoops, whilst Knutsen is said to be their preferred foreign candidate, which suggests that McKenna and Knutsen are the two favourites for the job.
TEAMtalk also reveals that it would cost at least £5m in compensation to snap the former Manchester United youth coach up, but it remains to be seen whether or not that would be a stumbling block for the club from a financial perspective.
Why McKenna would be a dream alternative to Knutsen for Celtic
McKenna, who was described as “incredible” by Ipswich winger Wes Burns, would be the dream alternative to Knutsen for several reasons, not least because this latest report names him as the club’s ‘dream’ domestic target.
Unlike the Norwegian, who wants to stay at Bodo/Glimt well into January, and possibly beyond, the Tractor Boys head coach does not have a Champions League campaign that would mean he is not available in the here and now.
This means that Celtic would be able to bring him to the club immediately, rather than having to wait two months, and he would be in the dugout for the league phase of the Europa League, the final of the League Cup, and plenty of crucial Premiership matches in the title race.
McKenna, who got Neil Lennon’s backing in the clip above, would be a better option than Knutsen in the short-term because of that, whilst he also has experience in British football.
As good as Knutsen has been with Bodo/Glimt, he has never managed outside of his home country and it would be a risk to expect him to hit the ground running when he has no prior experience in British football.

McKenna, as you can see in the table above, has plenty of experience in England across the top three divisions, taking Ipswich from League One up to the Premier League with back-to-back promotions.
Whilst they were relegated from the Premier League at the first time of asking, the Northern Irish boss has still progressed the Tractor Boys as a club, as they are currently fighting for promotion in the Championship, after he took them over as a midtable League One side in the 2021/22 campaign.
This shows that he can progress a club, whilst achieving success on the pitch, which is why he could be a good option for Celtic, despite having never won a league title in his career as a coach so far.
McKenna may not have the titles under his belt that Knutsen has, but the Ipswich boss has an impressive track record with Ipswich, knowledge of British football and markets, and would be available two months earlier, which is why he would be a dream alternative.

حمزة عبد الكريم يبلغ من العمر 17 عامًا فقط ويعتبر من بين أبرز المواهب الشابة في كرة القدم المصرية خلال السنوات الأخيرة.
وتم تصعيد حمزة عبد الكريم إلى الفريق الأول لـ الأهلي خلال هذا الموسم، وشارك اللاعب مع الأحمر خلال مباراة شبيبة القبائل ببطولة دوري أبطل إفريقيا.

وقال محمد إبراهيم في تصريحات تلفزيونية عبر قناة صدى البلد: “مجموعة من اللاعبين في منتخب 2008 تستحق جميعها أن تكون في مواقعها، ونتمنى أن يحترف جميع اللاعبين، وأن توافق الأندية على احترافهم، ونرغب في أن نرى خمسة أو ستة أو عشرة أو عشرين لاعبًا في الدوريات الكبيرة خلال الفترة المقبلة بإذن الله”.
وتابع: “فيما يخصّ حمزة عبد الكريم، فقد سألني مندوب برشلونة عنه بعد مباراة سويسرا، وبرغم خسارة المنتخب المصري كنت سعيدًا جدًا، وأبلغت حمزة ووالده بذلك، لكنني لم أكن على علم بمدى جدّية هذا المندوب، وأنا أتمنى له التوفيق دائمًا”.
وواصل: “هناك لاعبون آخرون عرض عليهم خوض فترات المعايشة، منهم بلال عطية، والنجعاوي، وآخرون، وأتمنى أن تكون هناك مجموعة كبيرة من هؤلاء الشباب محترفة”.
وزاد: “هذا العمر خطير جدًا وصعب، ولكن، هؤلاء اللاعبين امتلكوا قدرًا كبيرًا من الانضباط والالتزام، ولديهم مقومات كبيرة جدًا تجعلهم في مكانة مهمة، إضافة إلى إصرار كبير، وهو أمر بالغ الأهمية في هذه المرحلة”.
وأتم: “البيت هو الأساس، والتربية في هذا السن شديدة الصعوبة، لكن هؤلاء الأولاد كانوا ملتزمين، وأحبّهم جميعًا، وكانوا على قدر كبير من المسؤولية”.

REGULAMENTO
A Taça Santos Dumont conta com 12 times que se enfrentam em turno único de pontos corridos. Os quatro primeiros colocados se classificam para a semifinal em busca de uma única vaga na elite do Campeonato Carioca.
Por outro lado, os dois últimos colocados serão rebaixados para o terceiro escalão do estadual do Rio de Janeiro.
A semifinal será disputada em jogos de ida e volta, e os confrontos serão realizados entre o 1º colocado x 4º colocado e 2º colocado x 3º colocado. Em caso de igualdade no marcados, os clubes com as maiores pontuações nos pontos corridos da Taça Santos Dumont se classificam para a decisão.

Assim como na fase anterior, a final será disputada em duas partidas, e o vencedor conquistará uma vaga na elite do Campeonato Carioca. Em caso de empate no agregado, o duelo será decidido na disputa por pênaltis.

Além do América-RJ, a Taça Santos Dumont conta com clubes tradicionais no cenário do futebol do Rio de Janeiro. Americano, Audax-RJ, que foi rebaixado na última Taça Guanabara, , Cabofriense, Duque de Caxias, Olaria e Resende estão entre as equipes mais conhecidas.

Por outro lado, Araruama, Artsul, Maricá, Petrópolis e Serrano-RJ também participam da competição que forma o segundo escalão carioca.
